DO YOU HAVE A CHILD WITH A PASSION FOR AVIATION?
TERM 1 RECRUITMENT IS NOW OPEN
Wednesday 30th January 2019
If you have a child aged between 8-18 years with a passion for aviation, this is your opportunity to talk with other parents, cadets and Officers to learn more about the Australian Air League and how your child can pursue their passion.
The Air League offers an education program that will allow your child to learn more about aviation as well as make friends, participate in sports, and attend aviation and field craft camps and activities.
This is the ideal time to visit our squadron as we are just back from school holidays and starting the new educational program for the term.
You and your child are welcome to visit our squadron up to three times at no cost prior to making a decision.
Upon joining your child will begin our Induction Program, which aims to give them a good foundation of both aviation and Air League knowledge prior to moving into our mainstream curriculum.
Cadets have the opportunity to be involved in numerous activities including:
Aviation Education - Theory of Flight, Engineering, Gliding and Soaring,
Ranks and Badges
First Aid Training
Anzac Day March
Remembrance Day Service
Aviation Careers Expo
Supporting community Events
The Forest Lake Squadron parades at 6.30pm – 8.30pm every Wednesday during the school term at Archerfield Airport (Southern Skies Building).
